Before her rise to fame with her smash-hit Bitch, What's New?, Chanel Money fought with demons that one should never have to deal with. 

Chanel had a very dark childhood - Born in London with Cocaine and in her system, an absent father and a neurotic mother, Chanel Money's life seemed doomed from the start.  Her father was a busy man, working in the US with his own international company Money Airlines™.  Chanel's father was not the only hotshot in the family, with her mother being a big-time Hollywood actress, landing major movie roles and being best friends with the likes of Madonna and Nicki Minaj, to whom, performed at Chanel's third birthday party.

Chanel took her first sniff of cocaine at just 2 years old, she claims, 'thinking it was makeup'.  Chanel was rushed to the hospital for her first time after suffering from an overdose. Shortly after this ordeal, Chanel's parents divorced and her mother moved on in search of a new love, to which she found, giving Chanel a new step-sister, Bianca Fawx.

Chanel found being the child of two famous parents extremely difficult.  At just 10 years old, Chanel Money's mother finally put her foot down and would not let Chanel get any more cocaine.  This filled Chanel with a rebellious spirit and she snuck out of the house, where she took her first stab at heroin, giving her an additional addiction.  Then, at 14, Chanel's best friend, Jessica, would meet her untimely demise after overdosing on ketamine at a house party.  Chanel was devastated by this and fell into a deep and dark depression.  She didn't know how she could cope, therefore, taking more and more drugs to numb the pain.  A few months went by and Chanel took '4 tabs of acid and saw god' to which he allegedly told her to 'forget about Jessica'.  Chanel took the lords advice and swiftly forgot all about Jessica's existence until this interview.

The Money family is an incredibly influential family but Chanel did not let this affect how she approached everyday life.  Chanel had plenty of poor friends, to whom she would sneak out of her mansion to see most days as not to disgrace the Money name. Chanel just wanted to be herself, she would sell herself for fish and chips just so she could feel working-class. The stress of being someone she's not really got to Chanel and she packed up her stuff and moved to L.A.

I asked Chanel what the meaning was behind her hit Bitch, What's New? and Here's what she had to say:

"Bitch, What's New? was inspired by me first moving to L.A and having everybody hate me...But I don't care because it turned me into the icon that I live as today, everybody knows me, i'm the one and ONLY Chanel Money. 'Bitch, What's New? On the news' just means that I'm always in the spotlight and getting people talking.

"Chanel is in jail" Bitch, what's new?

"Chanel has a new boyfriend" Bitch, what's new?

The second verse is just about oral sex."

Despite all the hardships and scandals Chanel has faced, I, Katja Lackin, can firmly say, as a friend of Chanel's, that she is a misunderstood and deeply flawed young woman who just needs some compassion, love and patience.  After this interview Chanel defended me against a gaggle of hoodlums whom had set out of their way to bully and harass me.  Chanel refuses to back down and always fights for what is right.  We here at LSN love Chanel Money and can't wait for what she comes out with next!
