Dandy Day: A Small Town Girl with Big Dreams

Mesquite Texas’ Dandruff Dolly Day; better known by her Stage name Dandy Day is country
music’s newest and biggest hit. And we had to privilege to meet the southern sweetheart under the cowgirl hat.

Dandy came to Luxe ready to escape her old life in Texas. Her family runs the infamous Day
Family Farms, and Dandy did not want to be apart of that business. With little education and big dreams Dandy Day moved to Los Santos on a mission.

When she arrived early on into Luxe County, Los Santos, she said she was welcomed by a very humbling community, the people who would bring her the fame and spotlight she has today.
She originally auditioned for both Rockford Records and Triad Records, Triad would end up
being the lucky ones, signing her a contract. The original idea of “Cowboy” the first record from Dandy Day, had a lot of shaping from Triad, and ended up being the first ever released track on Triad Record’s media pages. Cowboy would then go to be one of Luxe counties most recognizable tracks, Day was a hit.

Not everything is how it seems, and everything happens for a reason, and when Triad began
to not be able to provide what she needed, Dandy terminated her contract with Triad and
was given an opportunity by Shirley Lewinsky to co-own a sister-company; Realistic Records with Roxy B an investment that would change the outcome of Dandy’s future success.

Immediately after Dandy changed labels, she released her breakthrough extended play of work “The Muse of Mesquite” featuring 4 authentic tracks, and a remix of Cowboy featuring Nancy Langraab. She says she wanted to create a different sound on every song to really show versatility, and she definitely proved herself as an artist. She tells us if there’s something she could go back and do it would be to put more tracks with meaning with her experiences in fame, heartbreak, and personal topics in the ep as well. Dandy says that after not being able to release music for so long under Triad's iron fist, Dandy felt immense pressure to release her ep ASAP- causing her to feel rushed.

A new investment in Dandy Day’s career is her involvement in a brand new
Entertainment group; Realistic Records. The group- owned by
Roxy B. She tells us she is so
excited to be involved in this and is wanting the community to be involved so they can find new talent.

As of now; Dandy Day is happy to be in Luxe county and wants everyone to know not to forget
about her. She is experimenting now in the modeling scene and wants to potentially get into
acting and make a debut in other forms of media. She proves time and time again she is a
women of many talents. Not only is she a community spotlight but she also is in a relationship
with Katja Lackin, and is happy with their connections. Dandy’s dreams are coming true. From
Farm hand to venue sell out - Dandy has been an inspiration for Luxe county singers and
civilians alike, and we can’t wait to see what she has next!

In loving memory of Kimber Lee - This was her last article before her untimely passing.  She was a valuable member of Lackin Seamen News and will be missed greatly.
